Prince William and his wife, Catherine, will be visiting a fire-ravaged town in central Alberta on Wednesday, the seventh day of their Canadian tour.
Slave lake was destroyed by fire in May of the house and its structure has been shattered.
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will meet emergency services personnel from fire, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and medical response teams in the city before visiting with the families affected.
Later Wednesday, the royal couple will go to Calgary, Alberta, for a series of events Thursday and Friday.
William and Catherine are expected to visit a total of four provinces and one territory during their nine-day tour - the first foreign trip as they were officially husband and wife.
On Tuesday, William and Catherine made the journey north to stop them when they visit the site in the Northwest Territories.
